Shaohui Yuan began working as a patent attorney since 2001. He has 25 years of experience in the intellectual property profession so far and his practice area focuses on drafting patent application documents, patent prosecution, patent reexamination, patent invalidation, patent validity litigation, patent infringement litigation, legal opinion on patent infringement, administrative protection of patent right, licensing/assignment of patent, portfolio management, FTO opinion, patent strategy design, patent registry in Hong Kong and Macau SAR, IP litigation and dispute resolution including negotiation, mediation and arbitration, consulting on IP strategy. Mr. Yuan is the President of Licensing Executives Society China, the Vice President of China Trademark Association, the Expert in the National Intellectual Property Experts Pool, the Arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Mediator of CCPIT Mediation Center.

Since 2001, he has been engaged in intellectual property practice with about 25 years of professional experience. As a patent and trademark attorney, he has handled numerous patent and trademark infringement litigation, invalidation, and administrative dispute cases. As an arbitrator of CIETAC and mediator of CCPIT Mediation Center, he has participated in several IP‑related dispute mediation and arbitration cases, mainly involving patent infringement, patent validity, trademark disputes, and IP licensing and transaction disputes.
