As an Italian and European Qualified Patent Attoreny, she handles the drafting, filing, and prosecution of national, European, international, and foreign applications, as well as drafting patentability and freedom to operate opinions. She has gained experience in opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, both in drafting written briefs and in oral proceedings. She manages the patent portfolios of clients operating in various fields of chemistry (pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical) and biotechnology. In the pharmaceutical sector, she has protected inventions relating to new chemical entities, wound healing, production processes for blood products, antibodies, mutated proteins, genome editing, medical and diagnostic devices, supplements, and pharmaceutical formulations. In the food sector, she has protected inventions relating to foods, beverages, supplements, and production processes. In other fields of chemistry, she has managed inventions involving metal alloys, galvanic solutions, electrodeposition equipment, electrolyzers, photobioreactors, waste or production waste treatment processes, petroleum refining processes, process control methods, and technical textiles. Since 2013, she has been appointed as a court-appointed technical consultant by the Court of Florence or as a party-appointed technical consultant in legal disputes.
