My mediation style is a hybrid approach, combining facilitative and evaluative methods. The primary aim is to enable parties to reach agreement independently, through structured dialogue that builds a clear mutual understanding of each side's position and underlying interests. Where the parties request it, or the circumstances warrant, I incorporate evaluative techniques, including candid assessment of the merits and likely outcomes, to help move discussions forward. This adaptability allows the process to be calibrated to the specific dynamics and demands of each dispute, rather than applying a single methodology regardless of context.
