She has acted as counsel in numerous IP-related proceedings involving patent revocation and infringement, database protection, trademarks, know-how, and provisional remedies. Her experience includes representing pharmaceutical companies in patent validity and infringement disputes before the Latvian courts; acting in cross-border proceedings concerning database rights (including a reference to the Court of Justice of the European Union); and representing Philip Morris in criminal proceedings relating to unlawful trademark use in Latvia.
