Trained at Clifford Turner (now Clifford Chance) under the supervision of David Perkins, he continued to practise in intellectual property litigation and arbitration, acting in numerous substantial infringement actions across all areas of IP. He has a particular focus on the arbitration of IP disputes and qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1993. He has acted for clients in arbitral proceedings and has been appointed as arbitrator under ICC, WIPO, and CIArb rules.
