Sophie Rene-Worms

In addition to being accredited by PMAC, Sophie René-Worms is an accredited Mediator with the French mediation centres CMAP & IEAM. Sophie was certified by CEDR in 2017, then by the French business school ESCP. She is also Director & General Counsel of the polo association APGEEU / Association Polo des Grandes Ecoles. She has been involved in several mediations in relation with the termination of established business relationships, payment failures, counterfeiting & unfair competition. Earlier, she acted mainly as General Counsel & Lawyer. Her experience in intellectual property was gained in companies such as Sony Music, The Walt Disney Company, to which she rendered services for fifteen years, and Reckitt. Sophie also acts as lecturer for mediation in forums including the university, business schools & companies. She is panellist at conferences in relation with digital & mediation matters, jury member & president of the jury for mediation competitions in mediation centers & business schools, and wrote an article presenting mediation as the middle way. Her spoken English is described as impressive by all those who hear her speak.
