He is a qualified Industrial Property Attorney and accredited mediator, specialising in the management and protection of intellectual property rights across technical fields covered by the CMAB, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, fine and organic chemistry, medical devices, applied life sciences, and human biology. His expertise further extends to artificial intelligence and data technologies in medical technology, diagnostics, materials science, cosmetics, agriculture and plant breeding (including experience with Genoplante Valor), as well as energy technologies and renewable energy.

Since February 2019, he has served as Partner and President of Cabinet Aubenard (Dijon, Strasbourg, Lyon), acting as European Patent Attorney and representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC), advising clients in complex technical sectors and actively managing and enforcing patent, trademark, and design portfolios. 

Previously, he was Head of the Biotechnology Department at Hirsch & Associés (Paris), Director of Intellectual Property at Vivasanté – Laboratoires URGO (managing a strategic portfolio of approximately 600 patents), Director of Intellectual Property at Novasep (chemical synthesis and industrial chromatography), Head of Industrial Property at Genoplante (plant genomics and GMOs), and Patent Engineer at Institut Pasteur (human biology and medical technologies). 

His broad technical expertise is combined with substantial experience in patent litigation, including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court, as well as freedom-to-operate analyses and alternative dispute resolution, positioning him as an experienced practitioner in intellectual property dispute resolution within the CMAB framework.
