He has been practicing as an attorney for over 25 years in law firms specializing in intellectual property law.

From 2000 to 2002, he worked as an associate at the firm Legrand Lesage-Catel.

From 2003 to 2009, he was a partner at the same firm.

Between 2009 and 2011, he was a partner at Bardehle Pagenberg (Paris).

Since the end of 2011, he has been a partner at Legrand Lesage-Catel.

From the outset of his career, he has dedicated his entire practice to intellectual property law, with a strong focus on litigation.

Over the past 25 years, he has represented clients in dozens of patent disputes, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants, in matters involving validity, infringement, non-infringement, and damages. He initially appeared before most of the Judicial Courts competent at the time (Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Paris, Strasbourg, and Toulouse), and, when necessary, before the corresponding Courts of Appeal (Bordeaux, Colmar, and Paris). Today, he primarily represents clients before the Judicial Court and Court of Appeal of Paris, which now have exclusive jurisdiction over such matters. He also advises clients in proceedings before the French Supreme Court (Cour de Cassation).

In addition, he is involved in patent ownership disputes and employee-inventor compensation claims, either before the Paris courts or, in the latter case, before the National Commission for Employee Inventions (Commission Nationale des Inventions de Salariés).

Most of the patent cases he handles involve mechanical engineering, electronics, or information and communication technologies.

Practical experience of conducting mediation or conciliation or judicial settlement conferences or out-of-court dispute settlements in disputes related to the scope of competence of the PMAC
He was first introduced to mediation in 2015, in his capacity as a lawyer, during a court-ordered mediation before the Judicial Court of Paris. Since then, he has assisted clients in five additional court-ordered mediations initiated by either the Judicial Court or the Court of Appeal of Paris. All of these mediations involved patent law disputes.

He has been acting as a mediator since 2019, the year he received his first appointment by the Judicial Court of Paris. Since then, he has been appointed as a mediator on ten further occasions: eight times by the Judicial Court of Paris, twice by the Court of Appeal of Paris, and once by the French Supreme Court (Cour de Cassation). With the exception of the two mediations ordered by the Court of Appeal, all of these cases—both completed and ongoing—involve intellectual property disputes, including trademark and copyright matters. He is currently awaiting a new appointment by the Judicial Court of Paris in a patent law case.
