Over 16 years of patent litigation experience as a lawyer (qualified attorney-at-law) in front of national (Polish) courts but often as a part of wider, international cross-border patent litigation campaigns. Legal academic affiliated with the Polish Academy of Sciences - research and teach on patents, with particular focus on SEPs.
An internationally recognized expert in SEPs, she advises both industry players and policymakers on SEP-related issues. As a part of this role, from the year 2018 to 2021 a member of the European Commission Expert Group on licensing and valuation of SEPs, in the year 2025 SEP advisor to the Polish Patent Office within a framework of Polish Presidency in the EU Council.
Involved mainly as a representative of tech sector – representing international technology clients, in patent infringement and invalidation disputes concerning European patents, also with cross-border elements. Involved in mediation proceedings in one of those disputes. Also experienced in working with innovative companies from the pharma sector, involved in cases concerning not only patent infringement but also relating to supplementary protection certificates and parallel import of medicinal products, as well as in patent invalidation proceedings in Polish Patent Office but coordinated with proceedings in the European Patent Office.
She also supports clients from various sectors in structuring and negotiating complex IP-related agreements with focus on patents, including technology transfer, licensing, and commercialisation contracts.
