Ole Jensen

Professor Dr Ole Jensen is Professor of Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, and a partner at ArbBoutique. He specialises in international arbitration, acting as arbitrator and expert in complex disputes. He has a particular focus on technically complex and innovation-driven industries with a focus on IP issues. ‍ Having practiced law in his native Germany and England & Wales, Ole is equally at home in civil law and common law proceedings. As arbitrator, he has conducted proceedings governed by English, German, Singapore, Swedish, Austrian and Italian law as well as the UNIDROIT Principles. Peers describe him as “a definitive rising star”, “precise, accurate, strategic and efficient” and “consistently well-prepared and thoughtful as an arbitrator”. ‍ Ole has sat as arbitrator under the DIS, ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC, UNCITRAL and Vienna Rules across a range of industries. Lexology, Leaders League, Best Lawyers and Handelsblatt rank him for his work in international arbitration, with Lexology also recognising him for contentious matters relating to artificial intelligence. In 2026, JUVE named him one of its “40 under 40” in dispute resolution. ‍ He was ICC YAAF Representative for Europe and Central Asia (2024-2026), sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Arbitration, and regularly teaches, writes and speaks on international commercial law and arbitral procedure.
