She has over 36 years of experience as a UK and European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, handling all aspects of patent, trade mark, and design drafting, filing, prosecution, opposition, appeal, and other post-grant proceedings. She advises and represents a broad range of clients, from individual innovators to large multinational corporations. She has acted before the UK Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office, WIPO, and EUIPO, and is also a representative before the Unified Patent Court. She has substantial experience in EPO oppositions and appeals and has been involved as an adviser in patent litigation matters in the UK and internationally.

Her academic background is in electronics and electrical engineering. She has handled patent applications across a wide range of technological fields, including software and engineering, with particular experience in medical electronic devices, aerospace engineering, telecommunications, and smart technologies.

A significant part of her work as a patent attorney has involved advising clients on conciliation and settlement strategies to avoid adversarial proceedings. As part of her training to become an accredited mediator, she participated in numerous mock mediations and has also acted as mediator in workplace disputes.
