Coraline Favrel

She has extensive experience in professional training and litigation in patent law. Her teaching activities include delivering the INPI CAB training (Module 1: Patent Infringement Proceedings), which she has taught twice yearly since 2016, speaking at the APRAM conference on Mediation and Intellectual Property in February 2025, and delivering an INPI seminar on “Software and Patents” for the CNRS in July 2015. Her litigation practice includes drafting and pleading judicial submissions in a wide range of patent matters before the Paris First Instance Court (Tribunal de grande instance) and the Paris Court of Appeal, including patent infringement actions, nullity proceedings, enforcement penalty (astreinte) liquidation applications, and disputes concerning ownership of patent applications. She has acted in complex, multi-stage proceedings involving infringement and validity issues, royalty and enforcement disputes, and patent ownership claims, with experience at both first-instance and appellate levels, and has personally pleaded patent infringement cases before the Paris First Instance Court.
