His professional technical experience combines engineering, intellectual property, and dispute resolution expertise, closely aligned with the scope of competence of the PMAC. He began his career as a Software Engineer at Matra Marconi Space in Toulouse (1994–1995), followed by roles as Sales and Technical Engineer at INKMAKER S.r.l. and as Advisor to the Electronics Department and Manager of the EU project “EMCP2” at the Polytechnic University of Turin, where he developed software for analysing industrial electromagnetic phenomena, establishing a strong foundation in electronics engineering.
He subsequently transitioned into intellectual property, serving as Licensing Manager for the “MPEG Audio” programme and Patent Agent at Sisvel (1996–2000), then as Patent, Design and Trademark Attorney at Studio Tecnico Brevettuale INTERPATENT (2000–2004), and since 2004 as CEO and Patent, Design and Trademark Attorney at METROCONSULT S.r.l., advising across diverse technical sectors and handling complex patent, design, and trademark matters.
He has acted as Court-Appointed Technical Expert in nearly fifty civil proceedings before various Italian courts, as Party-Appointed Expert in numerous cases, and as Technical Expert in arbitration, providing independent technical assessments in patent disputes, explaining complex technical issues to judges and counsel, and contributing to conciliation efforts as required under Italian law.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and is qualified as an Engineer, Italian Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney, and UPC Representative (since 2023), and he leverages advanced AI-based IP review tools to support rigorous technical analysis in complex intellectual property disputes.
