Brief description

Vincent Borie deems that while winning the war can be interesting, winning the peace is even more interesting and profitable. The primary objective for the parties is to reach an agreement and find a solution to their dispute. The mediation style depends on the context, the nature of the dispute, and the individuals involved ; the mediator may even employ the Harvard negotiation model. A successful mediation is not necessarily defined by the conclusion of an agreement, but rather by the restoration of the relationship.
