He is Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL, where he teaches Commercial Law in the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and coordinates the course “Industrial Property and Competition Law” in the Master’s Degree in Business and Labour Law. He is also Associate Professor at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, teaching the Research Seminar on Civil and Commercial Contract Law and Interdisciplinary Legal Practice I in the Bachelor’s Degree programme, and practices as an independent lawyer, arbitrator, and mediator.

He is a senior academic and practitioner in commercial, corporate, competition, and industrial property law, combining extensive university leadership with active legal practice. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Law Department and Coordinator of the Law Degree at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, and as Director of the journal GALILEU (Law and Economics), while also sitting on the institution’s Scientific and Pedagogical Councils and its Arbitration Office (CAUAL). He has coordinated master’s-level courses in Company Law, Competition Law, and Industrial Property Law at both Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa and ISCTE-IUL, and has served as a jury member in the national entrance examination for the judiciary. Alongside his academic career, he has been practicing as a lawyer since 2009, focusing on commercial and corporate law, and is active as an arbitrator and mediator.
