Professional biography
Edoardo Andreoli is Head of Litigation and Arbitration at BC& Studio di Consulenza Societaria, Tributaria e Legale in Milan, a department he founded and has led since 2025. His practice focuses on commercial and corporate disputes in technology-intensive industries. He began his career at a leading Italian law firm, where he spent more than fifteen years before establishing his current practice. He has been a member of the Milan Bar since 2011 and was admitted to the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation Bar in 2024. He has been appointed as sole arbitrator in proceedings administered by the Milan Chamber of Arbitration and in ad hoc references, and has sat as a member of a three-member tribunal. His appointments have concerned shareholders' agreements and challenges to corporate resolutions in the IT services, medical services and industrial sectors, and in that capacity he has exercised the power to order binding interim and provisional measures. Across his career he has been involved in more than thirty arbitration proceedings, administered by the Milan Chamber of Arbitration and the ICC or conducted ad hoc, domestic and international, several in English and involving parties of different nationalities. Part of that work has concerned the agreements through which technology is licensed and commercialised, including an international arbitration on a licensing contract in the technology sector and arbitration and setting-aside proceedings on a distribution agreement in the IT sector. Other matters have concerned post-M&A claims, challenges to corporate resolutions, directors' and auditors' liability, procurement and dealership contracts, and energy trading. He has also served as secretary to arbitral tribunals. His advisory practice spans life sciences and clinical research, medical devices, mechanical manufacturing, cloud services and energy, giving him a working knowledge of the commercial and regulatory settings in which technology disputes arise. His arbitration training includes the Comprehensive Course on International Arbitration run by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Columbia University in New York (2019), the International Arbitration Winter Program at the University of Vienna (2020) and the International Arbitration Masterclass organised by the Finland Arbitration Academy and the Finnish Arbitration Institute in Helsinki (2026), after advanced courses on domestic arbitration at the Milan Chamber of Arbitration. He holds a law degree from Bocconi University in Milan. He works in Italian and English, conducting hearings, examining witnesses and drafting awards and submissions in both languages.
