Mediation style
Evaluative Facilitative
Brief description

My mediation style is structured and pragmatic. I aim to create a calm, confidential environment in which each party feels heard and respected. My approach may be facilitative, creating the conditions for dialogue, enabling interests to emerge and helping the parties develop their own solutions. Where appropriate and agreed by the parties, I may instead conduct an evaluative mediation, drawing on my experience as an entrepreneur, lawyer, engineer, patent attorney and judge to test positions and identify legal, technical or commercial risks. Throughout the process, I remain neutral and independent, while helping the parties reach realistic, creative and lasting solutions.
