Aleš Zalar, PMAC Director welcomed António Campinos, EPO President and his team today at the PMAC office in Ljubljana to present the Centre’s activities and progress achieved to date. The meeting was also attended by Karin Žvokelj, Director of the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office.

During the meeting, the PMAC Director provided a comprehensive overview of the Centre’s ongoing activities, highlighting key achievements, recent advances and strategic progress, including the ongoing public consultation on PMAC’s FRAND Guidelines Discussion Paper. The EPO President welcomed the progress made and expressed his appreciation for the Centre’s continued growth, accomplishments and contribution to the intellectual property landscape.

Particular emphasis was placed on the excellent cooperation between PMAC and the EPO, especially EPO’s important contribution to the development of the Centre’s Case Management System (CCMS) and its support for the establishment of a dedicated database of relevant case law on FRAND disputes from jurisdictions worldwide. These initiatives represent significant milestones in strengthening the Centre’s operational capacity, digital infrastructure and expertise in key areas of intellectual property on a global scale.
